Marge Maruyama Tribute Fund

Yaeko Maruyama, beloved wife of the late Gen Maruyama, passed away in Lethbridge on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at the age of 86 years.
A private burial service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden on Saturday, September 21, 2013.
Left to cherish Marge’s memory are her loving children Dean (Lynn) Maruyama of Lethbridge, Rod Maruyama of Vancouver, British Columbia, Colin Maruyama of Lethbridge and Derrick (Deanna) Maruyama of Taber; grandchildren Kimberlee (Peter Musil), Jordan, Riley, Meghan, Richelle (Scott) Tucker, Brendan (Page), Ren (Brad) Rabusic and Scott; great grandchildren Brooklynn, Caleb, Seth and Levi Tucker, Nolan and Alivia Rabusic. Marge is also survived by her brothers Robert (Rose) Furukawa of Parksville, British Columbia and Leo (Yosh) Furukawa of Taber; sisters-in-law Katie Kano, Daisy (Jim) Oshiro, Norma, Ty, Anna Mae and Yas Maruyama; brothers-in-law Paul (May), Sat (Shirley) and Wayne (Lorraine) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Gen Maruyama, parents Akio and Yachiyo Furukawa, brother Aki Furukawa, in-laws Tuck, Jack, Jane and Ken Maruyama and Tak Kano.
Marge was born in West Vancouver, British Columbia on August 8, 1927. She married Gen Maruyama and together they raised their family on their farm outside of Taber. Marge will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
