Cathy was born April 16, 1944 in Lethbridge, Alberta and was educated and spent her entire life here. Throughout Cathy’s life, she had many different interests and jobs, and touched many lives in the process. She had the uncanny ability to bring out the best in everyone she encountered.
Cathy enjoyed helping out people wherever she could: from volunteering at the schools when her children were small, being the Sunday Mass organist at St. Patrick’s Church for over 35 years, a typist long before computers for University students for their theses, lead secretary for the engineers at Alberta Environment and Executive Secretary for the 2009 Alberta Winter Senior Games.
Cathy was always a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. Cathy supported and was involved with many community musical endeavors, to which she immensely enjoyed to watch and also participate in.
We would like to thank all the staff at Chinook Regional Hospital and Homecare for all their kindness and care.
