New Crib and Armfuls of Teddy's for LRH Children's Units

November 24, 2004

LETHBRIDGE - Media are invited to Bridge City Chrysler Jeep Eagle (3216 1 Av S) on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. to see the donation of $2,731 as well as 500 brand new teddy bears for the LRH. The staff at Bridge City have raised enough money through weekly 50/50 draws to purchase a new infant crib, as well as new teddy's for the NICU and Pediatrics units. "The staff at Bridge City have been contributing to the 50/50 draws over the last year", says Gord Yauch, parts specialist at Bridge City. "Our goal was to raise enough money to purchase a new crib. We exceeded our goal of $2,700 in September but decided to keep going to raise enough money to purchase new teddy bears for the units as well". Staff from the LRH Foundation and the Pediatrics unit will be on site to accept the generous donation. Bridge City staff are stuffing a car full of the new teddy bears for a photo opportunity.
