Marjory loved children and she wanted to be a teacher from a very young age. After Marjory and Al’s infant daughter died before birth Marjory decided she wanted to teach first grade. She felt that all the children she taught were her children. Marjory enjoyed camping and loved to travel. She travelled to Scotland, Hawaii, Eastern Canada and the Western Coast of the United States. Marjory and Al spent 6 winters in Arizona. Besides her loving and devoted husband Alexander, Marjory is survived by her sisters Mable (Darrel) Maisey of Lethbridge, Evelyn (Douglas) Smith of Vulcan; brother James (Jean) Reath of Vulcan; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marjory was predeceased by her parents George and Marion Reath and her infant daughter. Marjory experienced numerous illnesses throughout her life; she handled each one positively, never complaining.
