Dianne Massier Tribute Fund

DIANNE MARIE MASSIER, of Lethbridge, beloved wife of Gary Massier, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, after a lengthy illness, on Friday, February 20, 2009, at the age of 62. Dianne was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and graduated from Regina Balfour Collegiate. She worked for the Government of Saskatchewan with the Department of Mineral Resources and then transferred to the Department of Property Management, the latter from which she retired in 1995. Dianne and Gary owned and operated the Milk River Inn for 5 years and moved to Lethbridge in January 2000. Dianne had many interests and hobbies which included entertaining, cooking, music, dancing, golfing with her best buddies, and traveling. In her younger years, Dianne was very successful at Tae Kwon Do and won international silver and gold medals. She is survived by her husband, Gary Massier, her son Christopher Theiss, her mother Vivian Budd, her sister Gerri Nickerson (Ken Coffey) and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Dianne was predeceased by her father Frank Grant Budd, her brother David Budd and her first husband Roger Willis Theiss. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects between 7 PM and 9 PM on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL, 610 - 4th Street South, Lethbridge. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at MARTIN BROTHERS RIVERVIEW CHAPEL. Interment to follow in Mountain View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make donations, in Dianne's memory, to the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, 960 19 St South, Lethbridge, AB T1J 1W5.
