The Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation
February 1, 2017
Our 8th Annual Radiothon took place in the
Atrium of the Chinook Regional Hospital on Thursday, February 16, 2017.
Throughout the day, for eleven straight hours, our six local radio stations chatted on air with doctors and nurses, administrators of the hospital, and patients to share personal stories of the impact that donations made to the CRH Foundation have in our community. The generosity of our donors is felt throughout the hospital, in every department, on every floor and in the smiles of our patients.
A sincere thank you goes out to all the radio stations who championed this day, B93.3FM, 94.1 CJOC, Country 95.5FM, 98.1 THE BRIDGE, 106.7 Rock and KISS 107.7. These stations proudly donate their airtime, not only on event day, but in the time leading up to as well to help generate some buzz throughout our Southern Alberta community .
Care from the Heart Day brings our community together and every dollar donated adds up to a remarkable total. The funds raised in one day helps the Chinook Regional Hospital provide outstanding care throughout the year. Since the very first Radio-a-thon seven years ago, we can proudly share that over $1,700,000 has been raised.
To our supporters of Care from the Heart Day, thank you. We sincerely appreciate your generous contributions.
