The impact from your donations is felt around the hospital as the money donated goes to fund equipment that benefits patients and helps attract and retain the medical specialists and professional staff needed to ensure quality patient services in Lethbridge - close to home.

We are grateful to the many donors and supporters who help make CRH a state-of-the-art, regional referral centre for all of Southern Alberta.

Individuals in our community facing mental health and addiction challenges deserve support. When you donate to the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, you’re helping healthcare workers like Chelsea, and the Inpatient and PAN teams deliver the best possible care in our communities.

"Without health workers, there is no healthcare. At the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation, we celebrate and support our healthcare workers efforts with funding for state-of-the art equipment and specialized programs, like Schwartz Rounds."

This year, our donors proudly supported the Opthamology Department with a purchase of Retina Camera. This key piece of equipment allows our Hospital to continue providing our Southern Alberta patients with first rate care without having to leave our region, a problematic challenge when vision is impaired.

In the modern operating room, efficiency is critical to quality of patient care. The more powerful and efficient an OR becomes, the greater the number of patients who receive vital care as a result. Created with Operating Room staff in mind, the i-Suite provides surgical teams efficiencies that allow them to focus on patient care.

You know those $10 and $20 donations? They add up. Almost all of the $2 Million dollars raised by the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation in 2014 was from our individual donors, much like yourselves.

Your generosity is directly impacting families in our community. You’ve helped ensure the tenacious mothers, sisters, daughters, matriarchs, and heroes are able to receive early and life-saving breast cancer detection.

The C.A.M.P Program is an inpatient treatment program offered that offers mental health treatment in combination with a school program to children between the ages of 5 - 17. Treatment is 24 hours per day, 5 days a week, following the school calendar.

A cutting edge CT scanner significantly enhances our ability to diagnose and treat our patients, who deserve nothing less. Donor contributions were paramount in being able to obtain the necessary equipment to meet the ever-changing demands of our community.

This year, our donors proudly supported the Children’s Audiology Department with the purchase of a Bio-Logic Albear Newborn Hearing Screening Device. This equipment purchase aids in directly minimizing the impact of hearing loss on a child’s life through early identification and intervention.

A result of tremendous donor support, a SCIFIT Recumbent Bike was purchased for the Rehabilitation Department. This versatile piece of equipment not only aids in improving strength, flexibility and endurance but also impacts the patient’s overall mental, emotional and physical health.
