In 2025/26, the Chinook Regional Hospital Foundation projects $15 million in revenue with $3.5 million in fundraising expenses, including staff remuneration for employees engaged in fundraising. We have contracted JCI (Jordan Cleland Consulting Inc.) on a flat monthly fee plus travel costs to support the Bringing Hearts Home campaign through direct marketing and community engagement. These costs are part of operating expenses. 100% of net proceeds are directed to equipment, special projects, and healthcare programs across Southern Alberta.
Note: This budget covers all Foundation fundraising, not just the Bringing Hearts Home campaign. While campaign expenses average 10% over 30 months, marketing costs are concentrated in this fiscal year, raising the annual percentage.
